North of Chile

Today I'm gonna write about something Im proud. Like some of you know, I was born on the north of Chile, in Iquique. For me is a proud be born in this city, Santiago is not Chile and we can found beautifull cities at the extreme of our country that most of the people does not knows thats exists.

I´m proud of Iquique because the city and the people has a lot of good characteristics, in this sense if you are a turist and need help to found a street, a restaurant or a beach the people helps you  in a good form, not like in Santiago that the people ignore you when you ask for help.  Another thing that makes me be proud of Iquique is that the city has a football team and when they have a match all the people of the city support the team and it doesn´t matter  if the team  is losing people stays in the stadium.  

 

 

I´m poud of this Little city  that  has it own anthem and flag, were you can go out of your house at night and be safe, were the people know you and if they see you in porblems they helps you.  In this city the things are very differents you are not in competition with the rest of the people like in Santiago.

I realize that when you are in another city that is not the one where you was born, you appriciate more your city.

Paint Party

Today I´m gonna write about  Life in Color that is  the largest paint party. This show fuses music, art, dance, and paint into one combination. This year was the first time that this party came to Chile so my boyfriend give my the ticket as a present for my birthday, it was a very good present for me.

The party was on March 15th and  took place at Espacio Riesco. The line up was : Chuckie, Quintino y David Solano (I love Solano). I went with 3 school friends, Verena, Domenica and Antonia. We went with withe clothe because we doesn´t know if the paint gonna get out of ours clothes with water.  The party was soo fun,  the music with the paint was the bes part, the food was very ñami and I think that the best of all was that I were there with my friends. The only thing that I don´t really like was the organization of the party because there were soo many people  fighting  to get paint but it was only a detail.

 

In the party I meet with more school friends I have no idea that they woul be there. When we saw them we run to say hi and we took a lot of photos together also we dance a while with them.

I went to Life in Color because I think that I would be a very good nigth with my friends like the time we went to Sensation and also because I think that  the combination of electro and paint would be

Sports

Today's post will be about a special skill or talent. Well I think that I have the talent to play any sport. I remember that my parents always motivate me to do sports. I think that when I was small they did this because they don´t want to have a son fat , but when I grew up and still now I can´t stop doing sport.

 

I think sports are good for our health, lose weight, get distracted, make friends, have a healthy life and having a good time in this ugly city.

 

Since I was small I have practiced different sports, I remember it all started when my grandmother gave me a ball when I was 7 that was my favorite toy. My parents could not understand why I like to play with the ball.

During my childhood I remember that I take lessons of artistic gymnastics classes where I was the smallest in the team also I take tennis lessons and at  school I remember that in the breaks I like to play football with my classmates.  But one day when I was in the  school one of my teachers saw me playing basketball and told my mother that I had skills in that sport. She recomend to my  mom: “your son have to join the school team”. So since that day basketball is my priority between the rest of the sports.

As you can realized I practice different sports and that's why I'm always the "wild card" in teams where someone missing.

Finally I think that you don´t acquire this talent, you born with this. 

Football

Today I´m gonna write about a group activity I like to do. I really like the sports that are in group like basketball, football and volleyball. I think that most of you already know that I practice basketball, but during my life I also have practice football, volleyball and handball. 

When I was 8 or 9 I remember that in my school the students of senior organized a football championship and my from teacher chose my like the captain of the team. I remember that with my friends we choose the color red for our team and a puppy for our t-shirt . We were very enthusiastic with the championship, we think that we would have the first place. For the championship we prepared and we train twice a week, our "coach" was the father of one of my best friends. 

I don´t remember the results of the matches, but after the championship I start playing for the team of my school. It was very entertaining for me because I start playing with all my friends and we spend very good moments and also when you were playing you forget all the things that you have to do and you can have a time to relax. 

I remember that the practices were twice a week and I played this sport until I left the school. Since   I´m in the university I had the opportunity to play some matches and the last match that I played was on Wednesday.

Fiestas Patrias

Today I´m gonna write about my Fiestas Patrias experience this 2014. I travelled to Iquique because there is all my family and also my boyfriend.



I travelled to Iquique on Wednesday 10 of September in the night. My mom was waiting for me at the airport and when I arrived to my house I think that I would see my boyfriend but wasn't like that because he was doing a work for the University. The next in the morning I was sleeping and my mom wake up at 10:00 because my boyfriend was outside of my house waiting to see me, that day we spend all the day together.

Since I arrived to Iquique my father was in Antofagasta because of his work, so I tried to spend the most time of those days in my house to accompany my mom. I love to be with my mom because we make different things, this "vacations" we dedicated to make bikinis and in a few weeks she is going to start to sell them .

When I was in Iquique I went a few days to the beach but I couldn't swim in the sea because of the tide. Also I went to a two diferents villages that are near to Iquique (1 hour and 40 minutes). The villages are very beautiful and i think that the best think is that there you doesn´t have signal of cellphone, so you can enjoy the nature without thinking in a cellphone. 

Teacher !

Today I´m gonna write about a teacher. Her name is Lily Checura, she was my basketball teacher when I was at school. I can sound weird but with Lily we are a very good friends.

She was my second coach at school.  At the beginning I dont really like her as my coach because I saw her like a military teach and I dont really like that. But with the time we began to had a good relationship.

I remember her because she was the one who tell me that i have conditions top lay basketball and after that i start playing at the UNAP university team in Iquique. That was amazing I never think that I would have the opportunity to be in a team like this one because I was still at school. I remember that the  training in UNAP were very hard but I learn a lot.

When I was palying at UNAP I had the opportunity to played with Lily, she is a very good player. She played basketball since she was very Little and also had the chance to be in the national team but I don´t remember if she played or not in that team.

I think that a bad qualitie of Lily was that she doesn´t have time for her, she gives all the time for her teams. she is mom of a beautifull boy that need  her  with time.

Family Meal

Today I´m going to write about a family meal. It was on Cancún, México. I was on a summer vacation trip with my father, mother and brother Alex, Ana María and Agustín. It was on December 24th, I now that this is a freak time to went on vacations but my father beacuase of his work can´t have another time to vacations.



This meal was a Christmas meal and also a meal to say good bye to our summer vacations because it was our last night in Cancún. That night we went to the restaurant that was on th hotel, because it was a special night to my family. I remember we order different things to eat like vegetables, spaghettis, meat and seafood. We order different things because we don t have the same pleasure. Also I remember that in the resataurant it were more people of different country and each family celebrates Christmas in a different hour because each country has each one time zone.

 

I hope we have the opportunity to went back to Cancún and have another family meal in that beautifull place. I really enjoy that summer vacactions and also the meal we have (the food was very good) all the things were beauty.
